Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the Zugspitze is definitely worth seeing. In a few minutes by car or on foot you can reach the famous Ettal Monastery, as well as the royal palace of Ludwig II Linderhof, which also leads to beautiful walks.In winter, there are numerous trails, the local ski area "Kolbensattel" invites you to go skiing. If that is not enough, drive a little further into the ski world of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A special cross-country highlight of the winter is always the "King Ludwig Run".Meals are provided by the small shops and supermarkets, which are located at a maximum of 900 meters.Should it ever take you to the big city, Munich with all its cultural and culinary possibilities is only an hour's drive away.
